Pensieve's Poetic License Challenge

While I don't technically have to post this until tomorrow, I thought I'd get it down now before my ISP goes all wonky AGAIN! *sigh*

Form for January: terza rima
Topic: beginnings OR fave snack food! (LOL)

And, I give you....mine! *wink*

A brave and bright new year has started
New habits begun with fresh pluck
Old habits and junk food have parted

New foods which offer less yuck
A walking routine will begin
A bargain with self has been struck

Weight gain while not really a sin
But a temple God gave me neglected
Weight loss is a battle I’ll win

A healthier lifestyle selected!

Great job, I still don't think I get it! LOL. You have inspired me to at least have a go.

Ha! I love it. You sort of combined the two topics! I'm jealous of your writing skill.

I need to start exercising too....and the junk food has just GOT to go. I love it.

Shazaam! Wahooo!!! You combined the two!

Color me impressed, Beth :).

Gosh...I'm visiting everyone who's linked so far and I'm wowed with how WELL these are written. I don't know what I expected, but the poems have blown my expectations out of the water.

See? There is so much talent just waiting to be unleashed!! Thanks for joining in this month :).

Cool! I liked this one -- I can't believe you found a way to combine both themes!

LOL -- I got so into it that I completely forgot there were themes assigned. Oh, well. I don't have the energy to go back and do it again.

Snacks and new beginnings. Very well integrated. You must stop snacks before they begin!

now that was terz rima
it flowed very nicely

you should add a second line to make a couplet at the end:

"And, so a bar she erected"
