Week Two: Exercise Accountability Challenge

Well...we're 2 weeks in with 8 weeks to go! And, how are YOU doing?

While I'm not back on the diet wagon as much as I would have liked, I'm finding the exercise something I'm looking forward to and something that I'm doing more of than I committed to! LOL DaHubby has been AWESOME (even despite being sick) at helping me setting aside time to do this! THANKS BABE!

So, my commitment was for 90 minutes and I did 110 this week. How did y'all do? Leave a comment here and I'll update the ticker as frequently as I can today as I dig out from having DaHubby home for two days. LOL

You guys shame me.

Ok, I walked 3 times this week for a total of 45 minutes. That is still only half of my weekly goal, but it IS a 50% improvement over last week. I'm trying!

Aw, Anita...this was part of the challenge...trying to find something we could do in the icky weather you and I have to deal with! LOL You'll get there! Hang in there!

I'm just lucky I actually read our school district's newsletter (don't usually read it since *I* don't have kids in school yet! LOL) and saw that the field house was open for the public to walk!

I fell way short this week (25 minutes total). Worked way to many hours, sidewalks are too slippery, and I really have no place to indoor walk unless I drive 45 minutes to a mall.
Will try to do better next week. Hope I don't pull the totals down too far!

I walked 5 days in a row the last 2 weeks (including the day of our field trip-we got back in time for one of my free periods). Then yesterday I went for a walk in the park nearby (I'm adding that to my list of exercise opportunities) so that makes a total thus far of 5 1/2 hours. My pledge was for 2 1/2 hours per week but by adding half an hour on Saturdays that brings it up to an even 3. And if the weather isn't too chilly, the playground at school too muggy (next to swimming pool)and I don't have to rush back to my students, I walk for longer than 30 minutes. But that's an exception rather than a rule so I won't pledge that.

I was sick this week with my diabetes, but I did walk three days for 45 minutes each day. That gives me a total of 135 minutes for the week. I am so proud of all you ladies, you are doing great.
