WFMW: Temporarily "Toddler Proof" Toilet Paper Rolls

There will be peace on earth (or at least in our home) until Viking #1 figures this out...which should be any day now (LOL)...but I thought it might help someone else. I don't remember who suggested this but it has so far saved us I'm sure hundreds of dollars in toilet paper.

I've found a baby's or toddler's natural "arm action" is to start high, bringing the arm down in a sweep, thus spinning the roll from the top down. Simply insert your roll with the edge coming off the back and every time the little curtain-climber goes to "spin" the roll, he or she will be actually rolling it up. No more pile of TP on the floor. It's worked here so far.

See Shannon's site for more Works For Me Wendesday ideas.

Brilliant...and very timely, with my two year old who has just discovered the joys of toilet paper!
