Remembering what's important

Good job to the Dallas/Fort Worth community for doing this! I wish we lived close enough to an airport to do this! How cool it would be for the Vikings to see and for DaHubby and I to be reminded...

This is awesome! It brought tears to my eyes, and a whole lot of memories. I remember my homecoming in 1991 and the most important thing to me was to see someone there that really wanted to see me. I can't stress enough how important this is to each and every service member.

This video made me cry, couldn't even see the computer screen as my eyes were clouded with tears. When my son left his Army base in Hawaii for a year long tour of duty in Afghanistan, because of the distance we were not able to be there. We also were not there when he arrived back in Hawaii one year later. I am praying he had the same warm welcome as I just witnessed. Thank you for sharing (I pretended for a moment it was my son coming home; made me feel like I was a part of his welcoming committee). Hats off to our soldiers!!!
