What it is truly about...

It's not about the perfect gift.
It's not about the food, goodies, or the travel.
It's not about your crazy aunt whoever or your family history.
It's not about the perfect tree.
It's SO not about this (LOL):
It IS about family, love, grace, and will-this-really-matter-in-20-years.

And, ultimately, t's about this:

O come, o come, Emmanuel,
and ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
until the
Son of God appear.
Rejoice, rejoice,
Emmanuel
shall come to thee, O Israel.

Oh, thank you Lord that this is the Truth!

Amen!

I love that Little People stuff.. so do the kids.

I posted a bit of a Christmas rant on BlogMommas about Christmas being about God and not about shopping, etc...

Anyways, you said it very well here.

The best decorations are the ones that are home-made ;)
